Laura Woods has spurs most wanted star in stitches with Spurs question: “That didn’t take long!” “Headline”

When James Maddison transferred from Leicester to Tottenham in the summer, Arsenal supporter Laura Woods had the chance to talk with the midfielder and made him chuckle with her comments regarding the move.

The chance to make fun of James Maddison for choosing Tottenham over her favorite team, Arsenal, could not be passed up by Laura Woods.

Following the Foxes’ summertime relegation to the Championship, the former Leicester star finalized a £40 million transfer to the white side of North London. His tenure at Spurs has already been promising; he made his debut and contributed two assists before helping Ange Postecoglou’s team defeat Manchester United at home.

Maddison’s situation may have been quite different if she had been representing Arsenal. The playmaker’s transfer to the Gunners has previously been frequently mentioned.

Gabriel Jesus returns to Arsenal training, giving Mikel Arteta a big injury boost.

When talking to Maddison during the TNT Sports interview, Woods made sure to bring up that point. She continued, “I think that another thing Ally [McCoist] and I have in common is a genuine delight for seeing you play football. Not just football, though; we also enjoy your interviews and charisma in general. The question, “Why Spurs?” arises as a result. the reason you chose to join Spurs, for instance? “Come on!”

Then she added, “Didn’t take long! “, while laughing. That wasn’t difficult, was it? Laura is an Arsenal supporter, in case we didn’t know,” Woods responded, adding, “Congratulations first and foremost, I’m simply jealous because I wanted you to come to us!”

McCoist, a coworker of Woods’ on TNT Sports, then spoke up. “What happened to the congratulations, well done, are you enjoying your move?” the former Rangers player questioned.

What place do you anticipate Spurs will finish this year?Let us know what you think in the comments section.

Congratulations, I must say. Before giving Maddison the chance to finally justify his move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Woods remarked. Listen, you get to…, he said. You didn’t really mean that, right?

“I reached a turning point at Leicester, but my time there didn’t end the way I had hoped. Undoubtedly, we failed in the end, which was extremely upsetting and terrible.

“I wanted to go out on a high and end on a happy note. Even if it wasn’t meant to be, life sometimes throws you a curveball, and for me, this was the next logical step.

“Like I’ve said in a few interviews and other things, people have asked me things like, ‘Why Spurs’ and everything. Decisions must be made. There are times in your life when you must make decisions, not just in terms of employment but also in terms of general living. Despite the fact that you might find it annoying, Laura, I could see myself joining Spurs and becoming a member of the club.

And I’m quite joyful. You can see when you enter the club that it is a fantastic, large club. I’ve been welcomed with open arms and all that. Hopefully, we can now be successful on the field.

When Tottenham plays Bournemouth this weekend, Maddison and his teammates will be looking to make it two wins in a row. The midfielder is a small doubt because he was seen wearing a protective boot following the victory over Man United and because he skipped the most recent club practice.
