Noel Buck of the New England Revolution has been dropped by Tottenham Hotspur as a potential acquisition.

Although Tottenham Hotspur was interested in Noel Buck, a transfer now seems to be on hold.

Tom Bogert, an anchor for Caught Offside TV and a contributor to The Athletic, claims that.

Buck, a player for the New England Revolution, has allegedly caught Tottenham’s attention.

Prior to Buck becoming well-known in Major League Soccer, Tottenham was seeking for a cheap deal for him.

Buck has already played 29 times for the New England Revolution’s first squad, which is unfortunate for Spurs because he has established himself as a regular.

Due to Buck’s continually escalating asking price, Bogert claims that he has “played himself out of their price point.”

At this time, a deal for Buck appears doubtful because Tottenham doesn’t seem willing to invest millions on an 18-year-old.

Buck, according to Bogert, will now join a different English team this winter, though Tottenham may eventually enter the competition again.

Additionally, the US and England are fighting for Buck’s services in an international tug of war.

The fact that Noel Buck possesses a UK passport, in Bogert’s opinion, ensures that he will ultimately land in England. The England Under-19 team made an attempt to call him up in the summer, but it was agreed that he should continue with New England, where he was beginning. I know this for a fact.

He represents the United States at the youth international level, but he is also eligible for England, and I’m fairly positive that they will call him up in September. As a dual citizen of the United States and England, his name is another one to keep an eye on. Tottenham was intrigued in him, but he quickly played himself out of their price range since they were hoping to acquire someone very cheap before he truly made his MLS debut and established himself. come player will cost between $5 million and $10 million, therefore come winter, he will almost certainly join another English team, the speaker continued.

Who is Tottenham Hotspur target Noel Buck?

The fact that Buck, a Massachusetts native, has won the New England Revolution setup is not very surprising given that he is from that region.

In the USL League One, Buck played a significant role for the second squad after joining the Revs program in 2017.

In an August 2022 match against D.C. United that ended in a 1-0 victory, the adolescent made his MLS debut on the bench.

The end of August 2022 saw Buck start for the Revs against the Chicago Fire after making rapid progress.

On September 9th, Buck scored the game-winning goal against New York City, giving him his first MLS goal.

Buck, who is now a key member of the New England Revolution midfield, appears to be in for a bright future, one that most likely lies outside of the United States.

Buck has been a subject of attention for Tottenham for some time, and the club has invited him to train with them at the conclusion of the 2022 MLS season.

Buck said that he ultimately decided against traveling for that training session and that his trip “didn’t work out,” and if Bogert is right, Tottenham now appears to be out of the running.
