After Declan Rice left the London Stadium in the summer, the 26-year-old has assumed the role of West Ham’s talisman.
The Hammers’ forward appears to be in better physical shape than ever before, as well as stronger and more skillful.
He has already received a lot of appreciation from both fans and experts.
Tony Cascarino says West Ham really missed Jarrod Bowen last season
During a weekend interview, the talkSPORT analyst lavished admiration on the Hammers player.
Cascarino referred to Bowen as one of the most underappreciated attacking players in the Premier League and emphasized how much better he has been so far this season than he was at the same point last year:
Three goals were scored in three Premier League away games. He didn’t start last season particularly well, and they missed him last year. He is really strong and hungry, which I adore. Despite not being the tallest, he is powerful and has some character. At this moment, he is playing excellent football. He’s among the best wide receivers in the nation, in my opinion.
This semester, Bowen must have a tremendous season. At a bare minimum, I’m talking about 30 goal contributions.
He has started the season like he has something to prove, and he undoubtedly seems to have the bit between his teeth.
In my opinion, it was quite unfair that Gareth Southgate left the 26-year-old out of the England squad for the September internationals.
The next time around, Southgate will surely call him if he continues to perform for West Ham like he has done in the first four Premier League games of the season.
