The Daily Mail reported on August 28 that West Ham United player Jarrod Bowen is poised to sign a new deal soon with a pay raise of double.
When Bowen scored the go-ahead goal late in the Europa Conference League final last season, he cemented his place in West Ham history for all time. So far this season, he has carried on that trend with a succession of outstanding performances.
According to the source, his new contract has now been given top priority by the Hammers following a fruitful transfer window, and it may be finalized in the upcoming weeks.
The winger opened the scoring for the Hammers on the first day of the season against Bournemouth, added a second with a beautifully delicate goal as his team defeated Brighton 3-1 at the Amex Stadium, and then added a third against Luton to give the team three goals through the first four games of the current campaign.
In addition, Bowen shown that he has much more skills than simply goal scoring by assisting Michail Antonio for the Hammers’ third goal of the game against Brighton.

His performances at the London Stadium have earned him links with some of England’s biggest clubs including Liverpool [FootballTransfers] and Arsenal [The Sun] in a display of how highly regarded the winger is, but a new West Ham contract on big money to tie him down is the perfect move for all parties.
No one deserves it more than Bowen.
