Antonio was totally embarrassed by Maguire abuse: ‘see why’.

According to Michail Antonio, Harry Maguire’s fan abuse is “actually embarrassing.”

The Manchester United central defender was the target of comments from a Hammers striker who believes they are out of line and disregard the man’s humanity.

After the 30-year-old scored an own goal against Scotland, there was widespread ridicule on internet forums.

When it appeared that he would be moving to the London Stadium, there was a big outcry from Hammers supporters, which was followed by comments expressing similar relief when it didn’t happen.

Antonio stated this about football during a Footballer Football Podcast interview: “I’ve never seen how one person can be completely destroyed any time he does anything wrong, [even] when it’s not his fault and he’s just involved in it.”

The situation had gotten out of hand, he continued, and it was “actually embarrassing,” stated Antonio 33.

In response to taunts from fans, Maguire has asserted his independence; yet, Antonio claims that the defender’s humanity is being overlooked.

People frequently forget that they are human, and this certainly has an impact on their mental health, he said. When he was at Hull and Leicester, he was an outstanding center-back and, in my opinion, one of the best in the Premier League. Now, he is only half a man.

He is working to repair himself and maintain his strength. He has confidence in his skills. It simply isn’t working for him right now.

“I said, “Well done,” when I saw Gareth Southgate speak up. It needs to have been mentioned earlier. It has now been exactly two years.

FORMER WEST HAM UNITED AND SPURS MIDFIELDER CHO JOINS BIRMINGHAM CITY

Cho So-hyun, a former midfielder for West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur, has been signed by Birmingham City on a free transfer.

A club press release from the Blues this evening notified FAWSL Full-Time of the news. Cho is Birmingham City’s second acquisition on Transfer Deadline Day after attacking midfielder Ivana Fuso, who the Blues acquired from Manchester United for a club-record transfer fee.

Cho, a midfielder, has signed a one-year contract with Birmingham City, with an additional 12-month extension option.

The 35-year-old brings a plethora of gaming knowledge to St Andrew’s. Cho has had a long and successful career, performing in her own country of South Korea, Japan, Norway, and England. The midfielder holds the record for the South Korean national team’s joint-most appearances ever. For her nation, she has made 148 appearances and scored 26 goals.

As Birmingham City looks to bounce back from a challenging start in the Barclays Women’s Championship, Cho’s experience will be crucial. Once she receives a visa, the player will be ready for selection. She might not be available on Sunday when the Blues play Charlton Athletic at St. Andrew’s.
