Ange Postecoglou renames two new ‘dynamic’ player who would miss out next fixture

Ange Postecoglou is sweating over the fitness of Son Heung-min and Cristian Romero ahead of Tottenham’s clash with Fulham.

On Monday, Spurs will resume Premier League play when their rivals from London visit the city. After taking the lead in the league with 20 points from their first eight games, Postecoglou’s team is looking to carry on their incredible season.

However, it’s uncertain if Romero, the defense, or captain Son will be ready to play against Fulham after the international break. Romero was forced to leave Argentina’s 2-0 victory over Peru on Tuesday due to an ankle ailment, while Son is recovering from a groin injury.

Son scored his nation’s fourth goal in Tuesday’s 6-0 triumph over Vietnam after starting and playing the entire game in South Korea’s 4-0 victory against Tunisia on Friday. Toward the close of Tuesday’s game, though, he did display some signs of discomfort.

Son Heung-min hopes to be fit for Tottenham vs Fulham

Son was eager to complete the victory over Vietnam even though it was a friendly match. While Tottenham supporters hope their captain has the same degree of resolve to play for the Premier League leaders on Monday, he maintains that injuries are “inevitable”.

“Injuries are an inevitable part of living as a footballer,” the son stated. Though I was unsure whether to play in today’s match, I couldn’t bear to travel to Korea and not participate in front of the Korean supporters. I told the coach that I would play in the game after we had a discussion. Although I was unable to participate much in training, I appreciate the coach honoring my choice.”

Ironically, Jurgen Klinsmann, a Tottenham great, is the manager of South Korea. “The original plan was to play 90 minutes,” the German continued. When checked at the 60th minute, there was no issue, and the muscle ailment had not returned.”

Postecoglou is more worried about Romero now that he was unable to complete Argentina’s most recent triumph. The World Cup qualifier saw the center-back get an injury after only two minutes, but he was able to play through to halftime. Argentina has not yet released a statement.

The new uniform, which is a modern take on the classic look that earned Spurs the moniker “the Lilywhites,” is said to “build on more than a century of tradition”. The new shirt features a delicate yet distinctive linework pattern that was reportedly influenced by “the borough’s vibrant music scene and streetwear culture of the borough of Tottenham.”

Brennan Johnson is expected to be fit for Tottenham’s match against Fulham following his recovery from a hamstring injury, according to Postecoglou. Although Rodrigo Bentancur’s recovery from a chronic knee ailment is near, he won’t return to action until at least the following month.

After hamstring surgery in the summer, Ryan Sessegnon is also anticipated to return in November, while Manor Solomon’s knee issue will keep him out of the game until at least December. A catastrophic knee injury has forced Ivan Perisic to miss the entire season.
