Ya’ll need to calm down: Damian Willemse’s World Cup tattoo gets fans hot under the collar

The Springboks have returned to the country, and they, along with the whole country, are obviously still feeling quite high following their victory against the All Blacks in France over the weekend.

There is plenty to be happy about being the only nation to win the Rugby World Cup twice in a row and four times overall.

Many squad members received tattoos of the Webb Ellis Cup and the winning years as a way to commemorate the victory. RG Snyman and Siya Kolisi are among the players.

The greatest attention, though, has been drawn to fly-half Damian Willemse’s tattoo.

and with good cause! Not averse to flaunting his ink on his butt cheek.

The Cape Town resident, 25, posted a photo of his new tattoo on Instagram.

With the comment, “For All The Dogs…🖊𸏑🏆🇿🇦😂,” the Instagram clip was shared. Prior to revealing a grinning Willemse, “#BackToBack” displays a close-up of the tattoo on his butt.

Of course, many people were salivating over the hot film, which attracted a lot of attention.

The film made its way onto X, a place where individuals don’t hesitate to express their opinions.

The video was uploaded by X user @sanelenkosix, and it has around 6 million views now.

She tweeted: “Damian Willemse just had the Rugby World Cup trophy tattooed on his bum,” along with a photo of Willemse holding the Webb Ellis Cup.

@_Nwai, an X user, said: “He is skilled at what he does. The nation as a whole is in a frenzy 😭.

The bible doesn’t include any of my ideas, JenSainty remarked.

@arxhiiie commented, clearly preoccupied with the video: “The way i struggled to focus reading this caption.”

Now let’s start the celebration! Routes for the Springboks’ World Cup trophy trip have been confirmed by SA Rugby.

The Springboks’ Rugby World Cup triumph tour schedule was revealed by SA Rugby on Wednesday. The trip will begin on Thursday in the nation’s capital, Pretoria.

The Springboks took two days off after winning the competition in France and returned to the nation on Tuesday morning. However, they will begin their four-day tour on Thursday, when they will display their trophy for their devoted supporters all throughout the nation.

Prior to revealing the specifics, South African Rugby (SA Rugby) had already said on Sunday that Siya Kolisi and his team will be traveling to Durban, Johannesburg, East London, and Pretoria; smaller visits were scheduled for Bloemfontein and Gqeberha in 2024.

View the complete SA Rugby statement endorsing the routes here:

The Gauteng route begins east and passes Loftus Versfeld before turning west to see the Central Business District of Pretoria.

The Boks will next travel to Johannesburg, where they are scheduled to begin at No. 1 Jan Smuts Avenue in Braamfontein at 14h00. From there, they will across the Nelson Mandela Bridge and proceed to Soweto.

The Boks’ final stop on the Gauteng trip will be FNB Stadium, where tickets are available and admittance is free from around 15:45.

The Springboks are in Cape Town on Friday. A large audience is anticipated at the Grand Parade, which is next to City Hall, where they are scheduled to play at 11:45.

The bus route is set to begin just after 12:00 and pass through the Cape Town CBD. It is expected to continue through Langa and Bonteheuwel about 14:30, returning to the city center at roughly 17:30.

The Boks will travel early on Saturday morning to KwaZulu-Natal, where they will begin their tour at the Garden Court Hotel in Umhlanga at around 09:30. From there, they will go to Durban City Hall and then uShaka Marine World, where they should arrive at around 13:45.

Starting and ending at the Garden Court Hotel on Sunday from 10:00 to around 14:00, the last part will take place in East London.

Since all routes and timetables are subject to change, specifics about the routes will be shared on the Springboks’ social media accounts, along with any adjustments that become required.
