After winning eight of their first ten games of the season, Spurs made a great start to the campaign. But in the midst of a bit of a N17 injury crisis, they lost their following three games.
The summer appointment of Ange Postecoglou as Tottenham’s new manager has turned out to be a very smart move. The Australian already has the team playing a visually appealing type of football and, most of the time, achieving the desired outcomes.

Kieran Gibbs says Postecoglou deserves a lot of credit
Speaking to ESPN, Kieran Gibbs expresses his admiration for Postecoglou’s work with the Spurs and thinks the team will be a formidable opponent for other teams this season.
“As much as it hurts to say it, I’ve actually been really impressed with Spurs,” he remarked. It’s very amazing that they can play the way they have this season after losing Harry Kane. You must give him the benefit of the doubt.
The Spurs are a club that will undoubtedly pose issues for the other elite teams vying for the championship. This year, they elevate the level of excitement in the league, much like Newcastle did. They will be a formidable opponent for the teams vying for the championship.
However, I must admit that I’m impressed. They’re doing well on the football field. Tottenham isn’t even remotely associated with that kind of football. Since joining, he has been a welcome change of pace, and we applaud him for that.
Spurs Web Opinion
It is not often that a former player for Arsenal gives Tottenham such high accolades. Simply said, it demonstrates how successfully Ange Postecoglou has led this team thus far.
One area in which I would want to disagree with Postecoglou’s approach is that Spurs are no longer content to be merely a “bad team.” Our goal is to compete for awards and succeed.
In the league, we still have a wonderful position despite the recent setback. Hopefully, we can reverse that this Saturday when we play Manchester City.
