West Ham United have been credited with interest in signing Salernitana’s Boulaye Dia in the winter market.

A report from Il Mattino details the potential trades involving players from both Napoli and the Serie A team.

Danilo Iervolino, CEO of Salernitana, has already requested Alessio Zerbin, Gianluca Gaetano, and Diego Demme from the Naples club for the upcoming summer. Aurelio De Laurentiis, the chairman of Napoli, has asked for Dia in return; he is reportedly also coveted by West Ham.

According to reports, Salernitana wants to let go of the 27-year-old in January, and Eintracht Frankfurt and David Moyes’ team are “ready to shell out” the €16 million that is needed.
The Senegal international’s willingness to join the Bundesliga team or the Hammers is not mentioned. Should he choose not to leave Salernitana in January, Napoli may consider him following the current campaign. We previously reported on Italian rumors that Newcastle United might sign the striker following Wolverhampton Wanderers’ most recent loan offer being turned down by the Italian team.
