Tottenham Hotspur could have their first signing of the January transfer window sealed by the end of this week.

Ben Jacobs has been talking about Radu Dragusin and his continued ties to the Spurs on The Debrief, and he is quite optimistic about the likelihood that this tra

According to Jacobs, personal terms have been agreed upon; all that’s left to do is agree on a transfer fee, as has been reported elsewhere.

According to Jacobs, Genoa’s asking price for the defender might perhaps drop. The defender is valued at £20 million by Spurs, whilst Genoa wants to pay €30 million (£25 million) for him.de will proceed.

Dragusin price could come down, could be done in 48 hours

Jacobs revealed his knowledge of the defender.

Dragusin is now a top focus, and Ange Postecoglou is essential to this. The player has already granted the go-ahead; the only question left is: Can a price be agreed upon? There have been a few rumors stating that Genoa wants €30 million, but from what I gather, the price may drop a little. Spurs were aiming to spend between £17 and £20 million, which is close to €25 million at the high end. Although the parties may be at odds over a few million euros, only a few million are at stake in the negotiations, so while structure will be crucial, there’s a good chance this one is resolved over the next 48 hours or so, according to Jacobs. In the transfer market, this is not the Tottenham Hotspur that we have come to know.

Over the years, Spurs have become the quintessential late movers in the transfer market. On deadline day in the summer, Brennan Johnson was their largest acquisition; in the previous two transfer windows in January, Pedro Porro, Dejan Kulusevski, and Rodrigo Bentancur were also late additions.

Spurs typically close deals late, but it appears that they might close the Dragusin deal during the first week of the window.Tottenham is moving quickly, but it is too soon to tell if this is a wise addition.
