BREAKING :West Ham have bizarrely ruled out hiring “serial winner” manager

According to a club insider, West Ham United has already ruled out replacing fired manager David Moyes with a trophy-laden “serial winner.”

Moyes faces increasing criticism following his 6-0 loss.

Last weekend, the Hammers lost 6-0 to title-contending Arsenal in the Premier League at the London Stadium. The crowd, which numbered in the thousands, left the stadium at halftime with West Ham trailing 4-0.

Declan Rice, a former captain of the club, was Man of the Match against Moyes’ team, who had now given up five goals or more in a single game for the third time this season across all competitions.

West Ham was criticized for their utterly appalling performance at home, and Moyes is reportedly under more pressure than ever because the team has decided to delay contract renewal negotiations (Jason Burt).

The 60-year-old’scontractexpires at the end of this season, and his departure would bring an end to an otherwise prosperous period. When West Ham won the UEFA Europa Conference League in Prague last year, Moyes ended their nearly 40-year wait for a significant trophy.

In each of Moyes’ entire campaigns, they have also qualified for Europe; however, since 2022, their domestic play has been lacking, as evidenced by the fact that the east Londoners barely avoided relegation the previous season.

As a result, there have been rumors that West Ham is looking into Paulo Fonseca and Michael Carrick, the manager of Middlesbrough, as possible Moyes replacements.

Jose Mourinho is another well-known manager who is currently available; the Portuguese manager left Roma earlier this season. Although Mourinho has been linked to a return to Chelsea, his arrival to east London is unlikely, according to insider Sean Whetstone of Claret & Hugh.

West Ham rule out Jose Mourinho move

Indeed, according to Whetstone, despite Mourinho’s hefty trophy collection and standing as one of football’s most recognizable managers, it is thought that West Ham has “no intention” of replacing Moyes with him.

The 61-year-old has won significant championships in Portugal, Spain, Italy, and England. Last year, Moores referred to the strategy as a “serial winner.”

Regarding Mourinho’s Conference League triumph at Roma, Moyes said, “I want to try and take it a couple of steps further, and I would refer back to the serial winner Jose Mourinho – who found winning this trophy so special for him and his football club.”

Jose is the person I would call if I ever needed someone to demonstrate how difficult something is. There’s no way we’re treating it any less than that; he treated it like it was so important.”
