‘it’s hard to believe he’ll play’: Former Premier League ace worried about Tottenham signing

Tottenham Hotspur signed Radu Dragusin from Genoa during the January transfer window.

The 22-year-old has just had eight minutes of Premier League action thus far and has hardly had any opportunities since joining the North London club.

For the gifted defender to reach his full potential and continue to grow, he has to play more frequently. Florin Raducioiu, a former striker for Romania, has already voiced his concerns about the young defense.

He thinks that Dragusin, who can be an important member of the national team, needs to play regularly because the European championships are taking place in the summer. According to the former West Ham striker, Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero are two excellent defenders who are ranked higher of Dragusin.

“It won’t be easy for Radu Drăguşin, because, I repeat, he has two fantastic players in front of him,” said Raducioiu to Prima Sport.

“I don’t know what will happen, but it’s hard to believe he’ll play.”

It will be interesting to watch how things work out in the coming months. The defender will undoubtedly want to play more frequently, and it is unclear how the Spurs would start him in the starting lineup. Dragusin will be yearning for opportunities and won’t want to remain the bench player every week.

He was a vital member of Genoa’s squad in the Italian league, and he undoubtedly possesses the skills necessary to succeed in the Premier League as well. He must continue to put in a lot of effort in his training and wait patiently for his opportunity.
