James Maddison and Heung-min Son were left stunned by what one Tottenham teammate did in training.
Spurs posted footage from Hotspur Way ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash between Tottenham and Nottingham Forest in N17.
By the looks of it, Ange Postecoglou’s men are in good spirits ahead of the game, with James Maddison and Heung-min Son in particular being left amazed by something one Tottenham teammate did…
James Maddison and Heung-min Son left amazed by what teammate did in Tottenham training
In front of the Tottenham cameras, players like Son, Maddison, Brennan Johnson, Bryan Gil, Timo Werner, and Dejan Kulusevski were observed participating in a finishing practice.
Thirty seconds into the video, the latter produced a particularly beautiful strike into the top corner with his weaker right foot that left his colleagues in a state of shock.
Maddison looked shocked toward the camera, Son was jumping around furiously, while Johnson was shown quietly cheering Kulusevski’s strike.
In truth, the quality from all six of the aforementioned forwards caught our eye – some of the finishing on show was nothing short of superb.
Clearly, Spurs have done their shooting practice ahead of a significant clash against Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
Dejan Kulusevski strike strengthens case for position change
The Sweden international, who grew up playing central, recently said that Postecoglou is using him out on the right wing in the incorrect position.
Naturally, when Kulusevski cuts inside with his stronger left foot, he poses a serious threat to opponents.
The £25 million player can obviously cause havoc on either side, as evidenced by his strike on his weaker right foot in the aforementioned video, which suggests he may pose even more of a threat to opposing defenders in the middle.
There’s no doubting Postecoglou has helped Kulusevski wherever he is employed in the upcoming season—the Swede even took inspiration from the Australian for a speech during the international break!
