West Ham is once again considering Will Still, the youthful manager of Reims in France, as a potential David Moyes replacement.

According to reports, Reims anticipates manager Will Still leaving the team this summer. Numerous teams, including the Irons, have been informed of this news.

Being a lifelong West Ham supporter, the 31-year-old Belgian manager has publicly declared that leading the Hammers would be his ideal position. Although he still has a contract with Reims through 2025, a transfer to England would prove alluring.

Even at such a young age, Still has coached in Belgium and France. Since taking over as Reims’ manager in October 2022, he has performed admirably. We have to acknowledge that David Moyes, the current manager of West Ham, has been successful; yet, his contract is about to expire. This is true regardless of your opinion of him. He has stated that he would want to wait until the end of the season to decide on his future. All well and good, but there’s little doubt that West Ham has a succession plan in place, and Still may be a possibility.

Given that Still may be available and that Moyes’ future is unclear, West Ham must make a critical choice on their manager. To choose the right candidate for the team going future, they must consider both Moyes’ experience and Still’s potential.
