Conor Coady has made a claim about Aston Villa that he admits he probably would not have been able to say had he still been at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Unai Emery is getting a lot of praise at the moment, which is appropriate. The Villans have been exceptional throughout the season, competing in and around the top four and vying for a spot in the Champions League for the following year.
And over the weekend, they gave one of their best performances of the year. Naturally, Villa severely damaged Arsenal’s chances of winning the title by defeating them 2-0 at the Emirates.
The way in which the Villans displayed their superiority over the Gunners in the Premier League this season was just as noteworthy as the outcome.
The three points Villa earned against Mikel Arteta’s team were well deserved. And with that, a lot of people will now be optimistic that Emery’s team will be at the top table of European football the following season.

Conor Coady has undoubtedly been astounded by their achievement this season. Even if that might not make him very popular with supporters of his previous team, he acknowledged in an interview on The Monday Night team that he is a big fan of what Emery has accomplished.
He remarked, “It’s amazing, not many people could have predicted Aston Villa to be in the Champions League.”
“First and foremost, I believe that the management has been outstanding. The way he conducts himself, the interviews he’s done, his departure from Arsenal a few years ago, and his accomplishments, in my opinion, have all been amazing.
To be honest, I really enjoy watching his teams this season. And because I played for the Wolves for a very long time, I haven’t expressed that very frequently. Even though I don’t usually enjoy seeing Aston Villa teams, I think he’s a credit.

Sometimes it’s good to just think back on the work Emery did when he first arrived. Yes, the owners of Villa are quite ambitious. Additionally, he inherited a few excellent players.
However, Steven Gerrard was fired while Villa was only one goal above the relegation zone.
Less than 18 months have passed since Emery’s appointment. Even so, Villa has defeated Manchester City and Arsenal twice this season and is now in position to qualify for the Champions League.
Villa’s ascent up the standings was inevitable. However, almost few anticipated how soon Emery would arrive.
Fans of Vila should also be excited because it’s likely that they haven’t yet achieved their ceiling.
