As they make arrangements for the 2024–2025 season, Tottenham supporters will be hoping that July is a particularly active month for the team in the transfer market. The Lilywhites announced on Tuesday morning that they had signed highly-rated rookie Archie Gray from Leeds United, joining the ranks that already included Lucas Bergvall and Timo Werner.
In addition to competing for a position in Tottenham’s midfield, the England Under-21 international can cover at right-back. Spurs still have a lot of work to do in the summer transfer window, such as bringing in additional defenders to supplement Richarlison’s squad and bringing in a new striker to challenge him for a spot in Ange Postecoglou’s starting lineup.
Starting in September, Tottenham will play in European football again, which means the head coach will require a large team to handle the demands of the additional games. The Spurs must make sure they have enough non-homegrown players, association-trained players, and club-trained players before their Europa League campaign to meet UEFA’s regulations.

Postecoglou has previously stated that he hopes to bolster his team this summer with the addition of a center-back as he looks to compete on several fronts. Trevoh Chalobah of Chelsea, a homegrown player with Premier League experience, may be an excellent acquisition amid links with a few defenders already, such as Nottingham Forest’s Murillo.
The 24-year-old might be heading out of Stamford Bridge, which would open up the possibility of a trade between Spurs and the Blues for his services. The London rivals don’t usually play each other, but given Chelsea’s need to raise cash this summer, an offer for the adaptable midfielder would be too good to refuse.
Kyle Walker-Peters, on the other hand, would be a wise addition at right-back since he can cover for Pedro Porro and help Spurs meet their goal of having the necessary number of players with club experience when they choose their European team. Ben Davies, who will stay with the team, will cover for Destiny Udogie at left back in other roles.

The Frenchman is a very interesting prospect, and following an amazing season in his native country, he has been linked to a summer move. Doue, a left-winger by trade who can also play in midfield and on the other flank, would provide Spurs and Postecoglou with a wealth of alternatives.
Mikey Moore, 16, entered Postecoglou’s first-team squad in the last games of the previous season, so maybe, Spurs supporters will see a little more of him next season.
