Tottenham And Nottingham Forest has reached agreement for £30million player

Nottingham Forest will demand a fee of £30million to sell Callum Hudson-Odoi this summer amid interest from Tottenham.

Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that Forest are confident of keeping the 23-year-old after an impressive first season at the City Ground.

Tottenham have been tracking the winger’s situation, while there is also interest from teams abroad, but Hudson-Odoi remains happy at Forest.

Having paid just £3million to sign him from Chelsea last summer, the club are looking to make a £27million profit after just one season.

Nottingham Forest plan to accept £30m offer for Callum Hudson-Odoi

One year after relocating from Stamford Bridge to the City Ground, Hudson-Odoi finished 29 Premier League games with eight goals and one assist.

He was able to rekindle his career following his time at Chelsea and an unsuccessful loan at Bayer Leverkusen, and he established himself as a vital member of the first squad.

A cut-price transaction was on the cards when Tottenham first showed interest due to the possibility of financial violations at Forest.

Before Moussa Niakhate and Orel Mangala’s exits before June 30 helped to balance the books, the club had early concerns regarding profit and sustainability standards.

Consequently, they won’t have to let go of players like Hudson-Odoi, and Nuno Espirito Santo will be able to keep the winger as a key member of the team.

Hudson-Odoi, whose contract at the City Ground expires in two years, is content with his play and the amount of game time he has received.
