AC Milan has shown interest in Juventus striker Arkadiusz Milik as the Polish forward recovers from an injury.

Milik has been sidelined since suffering an injury while playing for Poland at Euro 2024. Despite being one of the first-team players Juventus has deemed surplus to requirements, the club is now reconsidering his status. This change comes after the sale of Moise Kean and their inability to secure a new striker in recent weeks.

However, this doesn’t mean Milik is off the market. According to a report from Tuttomercatoweb, Juventus is willing to sell him if the right offer comes along.

AC Milan is particularly interested, as they seek a backup striker for Álvaro Morata. The Spaniard has just returned to Serie A, and Milan views him as their first-choice forward, but they are keen to have an experienced backup. This has led them to consider Milik, and they might intensify their efforts to sign him in the coming weeks.

Milik is a very experienced striker, but he no longer has so many goals in him and we will be fine if he leaves.

After several busted attempts to sign another center-forward to challenge Alvaro Morata’s first-team status, Milan have turned to an unlikely solution. According to Sport Mediaset, via TWM, Paulo Fonseca’s men have set their sights on second-string Juventus striker Arkadiusz Milik.

Milan finally concluded their summer-long pursuit of Emerson Royal on Tuesday. Now’s the time to focus on a new goal-getter. Roma’s Tammy Abraham has been on the club’s shortlist since the start of the summer. However, negotiations with Roma have never taken off.

On top of that, Abraham recently admitted his desire to stay at the Stadio Olimpico. It has forced Milan scouts to expand their search. Arkadiusz is the latest name linked with a move to the Stadio San Siro. Talks between the Rossoneri and Juventus for Pierre Kalulu are ongoing.

As it turns out, Milan could take advantage of their meetings with the Turin club to discuss the Polish star’s future. Milik wasn’t the best version of himself last season. Several injury setbacks curtailed his momentum while playing second fiddle to Dusan Vlahovic didn’t work in his favor.

Milik’s torrid form has cast doubt on his long-term prospects at Juventus. But Milan seem undeterred as they look to bring the 30-year-old to San Siro. He could be the final piece of Fonseca’s attacking jigsaw if they can present the Bianconeri with a satisfying proposal.
