JUST IN: Kaizer Chiefs bosses move on this new target in Europe

Kaizer Chiefs was once home to some of the finest midfielders in the country, but today it’s a totally different story.

Kaizer Chiefs FC are reportedly considering signing a European based Bafana Bafana midfielder.

The Glamour Boys have ultimately struggled to build a formidable midfield during recent seasons.

Now, according to reports, after losing out on some of the country’s top talent, Kaizer Chiefs are now looking abroad for solutions.

Kaizer Chiefs pushing to sign Luke Le Roux

Former SuperSport United and Stellenbosch midfielder Luke Le Roux has emerged as a top transfer target for Kaizer Chiefs. The 26-year-old is currently on the books of Swedish side Värnamo.

“Even if we say they have the money to bring him back home like they did in the past with players like Bernard Parker, Tshepo Masilela or even Keagan Dolly, it will all depend on the player himself whether he wants to come back home or not,” an insider told Soccer Laduma.

“It will be interesting to see what happens with him in January and Chiefs are crossing their fingers to at least sign a player that both management and the technical team agree upon.”

In other news, former Kaizer Chiefs winger Keletso Sifama’s contract at Cape Town Spurs has been terminated.

The 21-year-old winger joined Spurs on loan from Sekhukhune United at the beginning of the season.

A product of the Kaizer Chiefs academy, Sifama broke through the ranks in 2020 with high expectations.

Despite the hype and his undeniable talent, Sifama has struggled for consistency in the Premier Soccer League.

The speedy winger has already featured for six different teams at his tender young age, and that number could soon increase after his loan deal to Spurs was terminated!

Ex Kaizer Chiefs star’s difficult run continues

“Information gathered by this publication has confirmed that Sifama’s season-long loan move was cut short after Spurs terminated the contract and allowed the player to return to Babina Noko,” an IDiski Times report read.

“It remains unclear whether United will keep him for the remainder of the season or they will look for other loan options as they have plenty of players in that position.”
