Kaizer Chiefs set to lose Reeve Frosler for free
Kaizer Chiefs could be set to lose one of their most valued and longest serving players for nothing at the end of the season as things stand!

Chiefs are currently not enjoying the best of seasons under coach Nasreddine Nabi, languishing in sixth place.
Chiefs previous clear out was on the management
Should the club’s fortunes not improve, it’s believed that Nabi will have his first real clear out at the club. At the end of the previous season, Chiefs management were in charge of the clear out. They decided against renewing the services of some veteran stars, some of which, used to be key players. The likes of Keagan Dolly, Sifiso Hlanti, Siyethemba Sithebe, Njabulo Ngcobo, Itumeleng Khune and Jasond Gonzalez were all released by the club.
Deprending on who survives in the current window, the next clear out could be a bigger one. What would be more telling about it would be the fact that it would be mainly Nabi’s decision on who stays and goes at Chiefs. It could feature names like Zitha Kwinika, Mduduzi Mdantsane, George Matlou, Pule Mmodi, Happy Mashiane, Tebogo Potsane, Dillan Solomons. There could even be the likes of Bongani Sam, Given Msimango and Ranga Chivaviro.
Amakhosi set to lose Frosler for free?
Interestingly enough, an unexpected name could also find itself amongst the list. This in the form of key player Reeve Frosler. The right-back joined Chiefs from the now defunct Bidvest Wits on January 2019. When fit, he has consistently played on either full back for most of the previous coaches. At just 27, with a whole worth of experience, he appears a big asset for the club. A couple of seasons ago, he signed a contract extension just before getting overseas interest.
But with Frosler’s deal set to expire soon, according to iDiski Times, there’s no talks of a new deal.
“ Kaizer Chiefs are risking losing Reeve Frosler for free. The versatile full-back’s current deal will expire in June 2025.Frosler inked a three-year extension in 2022. He’s able to sign a pre-contract with a club of his choice.” Wrote the publication
