However, for all that is improving for Spurs, they are still 12th in the Premier League table, and they have just one shot at silverware now which will come in the form of the Europa League, for which they are second favourites behind Man United.
Tottenham shortlists Postecoglou’s replacement
As the Tottenham manager remains under pressure, the higher ups at the club will have in mind a list of managers who could come in to replace Postecoglou should they decide to sack the former Celtic boss.
According to talkSPORT, Tottenham have identified Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola as their top replacement for Postecoglou, due to his impressive results for the Cherries this season.
Iraola joined at the Vitality Stadium in July 2023, and in his first season, led the Cherries to a 12th-placed finish in his first season.
But this year, it has all gone right for Bournemouth, as they currently sit fifth in the league, in what will likely be a Champions League spot come the end of the season.
His side have also beaten the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City, Newcastle and Nottingham Forest this season.

The report says that Iraola only prefers to sign short-term deals as a manager which could leave him flexible to leave Bournemouth should Tottenham sack Postecoglou.
However, it also includes the fact that the Spaniard is currently thrilled in his job.
Who else could Tottenham replace Postecoglou with?
The Spurs boss will hope that he can make it to the end of the season with his job intact, but if he doesn’t, Daniel Levy could appoint a few more names in his place.
According to GiveMeSport journalist Ben Jacobs, Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna is also on Spurs’ radar, a move that could be made easier in the summer should the Tractor Boys face relegation to the Championship.
The report also includes former Borussia Dortmund manager Edin Terzic, who is currently without a job, making him a top free-agent target for Spurs.
Terzic led Dortmund to the Champions League final in the 2023/24 season, but they were beaten by Real Madrid.
However, as Postecoglou has the backing of the fans, and is set to get more of his depleted squad back from injury, the likelihood of Levy sacking him before the end of the season, is getting lower and lower.
The Spurs owner stuck by him through a real tough run of results and with fortunes improving his position looks safe for now.
