To be clear, Son’s numbers are respectable—20 goal contributions in 35 appearances is far from embarrassing.
However, for a player of his calibre, scoring only six league goals and managing back-to-back goalscoring performances just once is a concern with his Tottenham contract due to expire in June 2026.
