Kaizer Chiefs still keen to get rid of R3m signing, rivals interested!

Kaizer Chiefs have established that a R3 million signing is not in the plans of Nasreddine Nabi, with a fellow PSL side interested!

After failing to clinch a loan deal to Magesi FC, Kaizer Chiefs are believed to still want a player out.

On January transfer deadline day, it was thought that three players would be leaving Chiefs temporarily, having announced three signing.

Two players left Chiefs on loan

Christian Saile saw his loan move to SuperSport United confirmed. The DRC winger even went on to score on his debut for the club. In exchange, Chiefs have been given the services of striker Tashreeq Morris on a permanent deal. The other player that left Amakhosi on deadline day is thought to be Mduduzi Mdantsane. The playmaker has joined Richard’s Bay FC on loan until the end of the season according to reports.

    Sam deal fell through

The third player who was believed to be primed for a Chiefs exit was left back Bongani Sam. This publication reported that he was set to sign for fellow Betway Premiership side Magesion loan. That deal hit an unexpected snag and eventually fell through. That saw the former Orlando Pirates star remain at Amakhosi, where he is still yet to make a competitive match day squad.

That then, again re-emphasises that Sam is not in the plans of Chiefs who will surely look to offload him. Now according to Soccer-Laduma, Magesi are also still interested in signing him.

    Magesi still interested

“Magesi FC are sure they will be in the PSL next season and that’s when they will renegotiate for Bongani Sam to be signed. That’s their plan at the moment. Though they could not sign him in January they are still holding hopes that they could sign him in the next transfer window. So, it’s not like that deal is completely out of the question. They are still set to sign him though it will depend on whether they are still in the PSL or not. That will be the main deciding factor as things stand now,” said the source.

Should he stay or get a fair chance?
