Aston Villa have been linked with a move for attacking midfield Pavel Sulc ahead of the summer transfer window. Sulc, 24, plays for Viktoria Plzen in his native Czech Republic and has enjoyed up to date a fabulous season domestically and in the Europa League.
Sulc, is a Plzen academy product who has done his time out on loan with various spells away, but he appears to have truly come to the fore this season; he has played 39 games in all competitions and has produced 23 goal contributions – six of those in the Europa League.
Sulc has a single year remaining on his existing Plzen contract as of the end of this season, and his current market value stands at around 10m euros (or circa £8.4m). He has been likened in his playing style to Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard.

Manchester City, Tottenham, Napoli, Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen are all listed as potential suitors for Sulc, who is expected to be in action for Plzen on Thursday evening when they take on Lazio in the first leg of their last 16 Europa League clash.
Villa must shuffle their pack again in the summer; Emiliano Buendia, who operates in the same area of the pitch as Sulc, leads the list of players who are currently out on loan and will return in the summer from their various stints away.
Villa also have decisions to make on Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio, whose loan deals will end once the campaign concludes.
Unai Emery is also keen on another centre forward to complement and compete with Ollie Watkins, but in behind he may consider another addition to go alongside Leon Bailey, Donyell Malen and Morgan Rogers.
