As the Hammers go into the summer though, the boss will be looking at a number of changes in the hope that he can push forward with his side in the Premier League next season.

The two goalkeepers at West Ham have shared duties throughout the season so far proving their abilities to push one another to work hard.

However, a constant change in goalkeeper can be difficult for the players at the back who are trying to used to different styles of playing in short spaces of time.

With that in mind, West Ham could secure a more permanent option in the summer window with Lammens being identified as a target for the East London outfit.

According to Simon Mullock in the print edition of the Sunday Mirror (23 March, page 79), West Ham are one of the clubs tracking the 22-year-old at Royal Antwerp.

Although he is yet to make 50 senior appearances so far, the Irons are set to face competition with the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and Wolves also interested in the young goalkeeper this summer.

As a result of the interest, it is said that Royal Antwerp believe their 22-year-old is worth £30million and they could be willing to accept an offer in this region.

The 49-year-old is well known for his ability to work wonders with younger players and therefore, bringing a 22-year-old into the club would reflect that.

By also bringing in a young goalkeeper, this could prove to be a longer-term signing that pays off for the Irons with Lammens already having made 30 league appearances in Belgium so far.

If West Ham do want to secure this signing, they are set to face some fierce competition to do so but securing his services would be a massive statement for the Hammers as a club on the way up in the Premier League again.
