Michigan football defensive tackle Mason Graham shot down transfer rumors on Monday, saying that he’s right where he wants to be.

Mason Graham has been called the best defensive tackle in college football. He’s also been the subject of transfer portal rumors which the Michigan football standout shot down on Monday.

Meeting with the media, Graham, a former three-star recruit, was asked about the transfer rumors, which he quashed (hopefully once and for all, by saying the following:

“Michigan is where I want to be. … I want to stay with all the guys that we went through battles with, so that’s really all it came down to: The teammates that I play with, and knowing the program is in good hands with Coach Moore,” Grahm said to reporters.

That’s going to be a bummer for Ohio State fans who have sworn up-and-down that Michigan football is going to suffer a player exodus at some point. Mason Graham who along with Will Johnson, Kenneth Grant, and Colston Loveland, are all thought to be future first-round picks. Johnson has committed to this season, shooting down rumors about his potential transfer.

Now, Graham has done the same thing. Last season, he notched 36 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss and three sacks. He also forced a fumble. However, he’s most well-known for his tackle for loss in the Rose Bowl against Alabama in the Rose Bowl. That put the Crimson Tide behind the sticks and forced them into a fourth-down situation. It might have been the difference in the game. Both defenses struggled late — they were tired — and Graham just found a way.

Now he has shot down rumors of a transfer which is bad news for rivals because the Michigan football defensive tackle is a bad man. He’s also got a good shot to be Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year.
