Chris Sutton’s Hilarious Rangers Post After Celtic Handed Title Advantage

Chris Sutton made a jab at Rangers on a day that Celtic gained the upper hand in the championship race. With an easy 3-0 scoreline on Saturday, the Hoops defeated St. Mirren.

Rangers then had to play catch-up with Ross County at Dingwall, but the Ibrox team collapsed like a house of cards after grabbing the lead through an own goal. Despite the typical “Penalty to Rangers” at the end of the game, County managed to put the ball past Jack Butland three times after being unlucky not to score in the opening forty-five minutes. With the win, County could avoid dropping a game.

The outcome has clearly delighted Celtic supporters, and Chris Sutton spearheaded the attack at full time when the away end at Dingwall erupted in jeers.

Chris is alluding to the peculiar remarks made by the Ibrox manager on Sunday, when his team managed to get a point against Celtic yet declared the game a moral triumph.

The soldiers in blue did not even have a moral tie or triumph. Is it possible to experience moral defeat? We will inquire with Big Phil!

Rangers still have a game in hand, but Celtic leads the table by four points. Even if Celtic has the upper hand going into the split, there have been some turns and turns, so nobody should get ahead of themselves just yet.
