According to reports circulating in Italy, Tottenham Hotspur has reportedly lost interest in Torino defender Alessandro Buongiorno ahead of the summer.
Prior to the upcoming transfer window, there have been strong rumors that the 24-year-old center back will be leaving Torino.
There are a number of Italian teams vying for the center back’s signature in the upcoming months, including AC Milan and Napoli.
Spurs have also been keeping tabs on him, and the team has had preliminary discussions on a potential deal.
Calciomercato.com, an Italian publication, claims that the north London club has modified its plans for the market.
Spurs are reportedly no longer interested in signing the Italian center back this summer.
At the time, Tottenham is not contemplating Buongiorno because they have other objectives in the market.
According to reports, the defender is eager to remain in Italy and would rather sign with one of the elite teams in Serie A during the upcoming transfer window.
