Speaking on his YouTube channel about the potential for Williams to move on this summer, Romano has said that a number of English clubs – including Arsenal – have been in touch.
“One more detail on Nico Williams, and this is important. What I’m told some big English clubs made contact with people close to Nico Williams, [which was] two, three or four weeks ago,” Romano said.

Any fan who has taken in the opening few Spain games will know why there is such a hype around Nico Williams.
He has produced in La Liga for some time now but doing it on the international stage very much shows he’s ready for whatever the next step might be.
Lauded as a player who is ‘unplayable‘ his day, Williams has indeed shown that sort of form for Spain already at the Euros.
The winger could cost up to£46m for Arsenal and others but on first reflection, it looks like that would be money well spent.
