Transfer News: Nabi sends big message to Kaizer Chiefs bosses

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi has started to plead with Amakhosi bosses ahead of the January transfer window in two weeks.

Nasreddine Nabi‘s Kaizer Chiefs were fortunate to secure a draw against TS Galaxy on Monday in Mbombela.

TS Galaxy nearly bagged a 1-0 victory with a Samulekani Kabini header in the first half, before subsitute Ranga Chivaviro found an injury time equaliser. The result left Kaizer Chiefs in ninth place, while the Rockets remained in 10th position.

Speaking to SuperSport TV after the game, coach Nabi simply pleaded for better quality players in the looming January transfer window.

“We feel that we didn’t start well, the first 15, 20 minutes, we were losing every balls,” Nabi said in his post-match interview.

AmaZulu coach Martin claims team will outperform Chiefs

“Easy passes were lost. All the duels were won by the opponent, which was very difficult for us. We tried to make around the 25 minute, we tried to adjust the team tactically, make a slight change, then we came back, really good.

“And then we concede a goal on the set pieces where we feel that we were starting to come back in the game really, really well, with more control, with more commitment. And, in the second half, we tried to push forward.

“Again, we are missing opportunities to score. And at the end, we, we tried everything to put more power, more risk forward, and fortunately, we got the point. But we feel that we are very, very far from the level of a team like Kaizer Chiefs, and we need to work hard, we need to strengthen the team but we’re gonna do everything we can for the future games.
