According to reports, the Soweto giants had been negotiating with SuperSport United since the transfer window began, shocking fans across the nation.
The former Sekhukhune striker was a free agent in October before Gavin Hunt picked him up to replace the injured Bradley Grobler – now, Morris will join the likes of Mduduzi Shabalala, Ranga Chivaviro and Rushwin Dortley; what a turnaround for towering centre-forward.
Nabi’s job in danger
Following a disappointing loss to Golden Arrows, who subsequently leapfrogged Kaizer Chiefs on the log, AmaKhosi management are reportedly divided on whether to keep hold of head coach Nasreddine Nabi, with some believing his time is already up, six months on from joining.
“There was a meeting just like after every game to analyse what went wrong against Golden Arrows but the issue of the coach (Nabi) was then discussed,” SoccerLaduma reported.
“Yes, there were two groups of minds. One saying they should give him games to prove himself before the end of the season and if he fails in those games then they part ways.
“While the other side still believes that he needs time to turn the fortunes around. That side believes he has brought some positivity to the team (Chiefs)
Another figure potentially on the way out is Congolese attacker Christian Saile, who is attracting interest from Chippa United and SuperSport United.
The 25-year-old has failed to show his true potential, coming up empty handed after six league games this season.
