Daniel Levy is currently under sevpressure from Tottenham fans to sell the club as frustration has grown throughout the season.
Ange Postecogou’s side have taken a step backwards from last season in terms of their performances and results, which have left supporters annoyed.
The Europa League stands as their only chance of winning a trophy this season after they were dumped out of the EFL Cup and the FA Cup within the space of a week, which added further pressure to Levy.
Protests have taken place in recent weeks as Spurs fans are beginning to become tired of the club not competing for major silverware.
Financial expert Stefan Borson revealed to Football Insider that no new investor would be keen on retaining Levy’s services at Tottenham if that was part of a take over agreement.
It is believed that people within the club are “hanging their hats” on a previous 10-game period at the start of last season as an idea of what could be achieved with a fit team.

“What you’ve got to give Daniel credit for is he’s not been afraid to make big decisions and hire managers,” Robinson told Football Insider.
“Nuno Espirito Santo was a bad decision, that didn’t work, you look at where he is now, would you hire him?
“Look at what he’s done with Nottingham Forest, look at what he’s done at Wolves, look at what he did in the Saudi Pro League, winning the title. You look at his record everywhere but Tottenham, he looks a good hire
“So Tottenham fans demand trophies. It’s the stick that’s used to beat Tottenham with by every set of supporters how long it is since they won a trophy, a trophy, a piece of silverware is important.
“So, Daniel goes and hires ‘win now’ managers, Jose Mourinho. Antonio Conte, two win now managers, if you’re to hire win now managers, give them the budget to buy win now players.
“You look at the recruitment system what Tottenham have had over the years, the recruitment this summer was good. They bought young, good quality players for the future.
“Not people that are going to make an instant impact.
“The hiring and firing of managers hasn’t been an issue because as soon as the cameras get pointed at Daniel Levy and the protests start, that’s when the manager goes.
“There’s a lot of people at Tottenham that are hanging their hat on 10 games at the start of last season.
“The way that Tottenham played, listen, we talk stadium, training ground, infrastructure, business, everything, everything about the club, world-class, apart from what’s on the pitch.”
Ange Postecoglou has been given ‘one final chance’
Postecoglou is under severe pressure at Tottenham due to the way that the first half of the season has gone in the Premier League.
Spurs currently sit in the bottom half and have struggled for consistency, but Postecoglou is set to be given one final opportunity at the club.
Robinson exclusively told Football Insider that Postecoglou will get one last chance when his players are back fit, and available from injury.
