It has been more than two months since Will Lankshear made the six-month loan switch from Tottenham Hotspur to Championship side West Brom. But how has the young striker fared in the second tier so far?
West Brom, who currently sit sixth in the table and are pushing for a return to the Premier League, brought in the 19-year-old with the hope that he could make an impact.
The youngster had already caught the eye at Spurs, netting his first senior goal in their Europa League defeat to Galatasaray.
His debut saw Will Lankshear receive positive reviews from the local media, with some reports highlighting encouraging signs in his performance.
Will Lankshear struggling for minutes at West Brom
After featuring in four consecutive matches for the Baggies, Lankshear has since found himself watching on from the bench.
The striker has been an unused substitute in the last couple of fixtures, with West Brom picking up good results in his absence.
Had he been given game time at the weekend, the young forward would have faced off against his Tottenham team-mate Yang Min-Hyeok in West Brom’s win over QPR.
Instead, he remained on the sidelines once again.
Lankshear struggles for minutes away from Tottenham
Lankshear’s four appearances have yet to yield a goal or an assist, leaving his overall tally at zero. He has also struggled for significant playing time, with his longest outing so far being 57 minutes in the clash against Millwall.
His performances have not exactly been eye-catching either, as reflected in his For Mob ratings.
His latest cameo against Oxford United saw him register a 6.0 rating in just 13 minutes on the pitch.
Against Millwall, he managed a 5.8, while his ratings against Sheffield Wednesday and Blackburn Rovers stood at 6.0 and 5.7, respectively.
Lankshear will be hoping to get another chance to prove himself when West Brom take on third-placed Burnley on Tuesday night, followed by a home fixture against Hull City on Saturday.
Whether he gets the minutes to make an impact remains to be seen.
