Real Madrid NewsReal Madrid set for major boost against Juventus as key superstar will returnPublished 31 seconds ago on June 28, 2025By Raghavendra Goudar
After missing all the three matches of the FIFA Club World Cup so far, Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappe is now on the cusp of making his comeback.
The 26-year-old forward has been sidelined due to gastroenteritis and even though he had resumed training earlier this week, the coaching staff opted not to risk him against RB Salzburg, considering he had lost nearly five kilos due to the illness.
Mbappe to return vs Juventus
However, as reported by AS, Kylian Mbappe is now ready. The French forward took another step forward during Friday’s training session in Palm Beach.
The France captain now has three more sessions to fine-tune his fitness in time for the next game and manager Xabi Alonso is counting on him.
As such, everything indicates that Mbappe will be available for the Round of 16 match against Juventus next week.

Ahead of the game against Salzburg, the former PSG star did light field work, but a joint decision between Mbappe, Xabi, and the medical team led to him being rested.
On Friday, however, at The Gardens North County training facilities in Palm Beach, he joined the session with the non-starters from the match in Philadelphia – picking up the pace.
It was a positive sign, particularly with three more training sessions to come ahead of his expected debut in the Club World Cup, scheduled for Tuesday in the Round of 16 against the Vecchia Signora.
Alonso expressed optimism after the 3-0 win over the Austrians, and Mbappe’s attitude seems to confirm it. He appeared cheerful, joking with fellow Frenchman Eduardo Camavinga, who is also making solid progress in his individual recovery.
Mbappe’s return is highly anticipated, especially to see how quickly he adapts to Alonso’s tactical system, designed to maximise both his own impact and that of Vinicius Jr.

Real Madrid NewsBorussia Dortmund star talks about Jude Bellingham; heaps praise on Luka ModricPublished 57 minutes ago on June 28, 2025By Anas Ali Photo by Michael Reaves/Getty Images
Jobe Bellingham’s move to Borussia Dortmund this summer from Sunderland has raised many eyebrows.
As the younger brother of Jude Bellingham, many expecting Jobe to follow on the footsteps of the Real Madrid midfielder.
However, Jobe is here to create his own legacy at Borussia Dortmund and in a recent interview, the midfielder joked that he doesn’t watch his brother play often.
Jobe Bellingham on watching his brother play
Speaking to Dortmund ambassador Patrick Owomoyela, Jobe was asked about watching his brother in action.
In response, the young midfielder said, “No, no. I don’t watch him, I see enough of him.”
Jobe’s reply was rather sarcastic, though it is not completely unnatural to believe that the midfielder doesn’t watch his brother in action too often.

Bellingham on Luka Modric
Jobe, however, has immense respect for another Real Madrid midfielder in the form of Luka Modric.
“I watch so many players, so many midfielders. Earlier I was watching Modric, when I have time I like to watch midfield plays,” he said.
Unfortunately, Modric’s time at Real Madrid will soon come to an end, with the veteran set to leave the club after the end of the FIFA Club World Cup.
Modric is expected to stay in Europe, however, with AC Milan likely to be his next destination.
As for Jobe Bellingham, he will be focusing on Borussia Dortmund’s upcoming Club World Cup game.
The Black and Yellows, having secured seven points in group stage, will face Monterrey in the Round of 16 stage. One would expect Bellingham to play a key role in this encounter
