Manager desperate to sign Tottenham player – Pleading club to make ‘last attempt’, defender ‘could be the key’

As a result of Pedri’s injury, Barcelona manager Xavi has requested that the team make one final effort to sign Giovani Lo Celso from Tottenham.

According to journalist Javi Miguel, the transfer of defender Clement Lenglet between Tottenham and Barcelona “could be the key” to the alleged scheme.

After spending last season on loan at Villarreal, Lo Celso returned to Tottenham, but it doesn’t seem like he will be a part of their future plans.

Despite the fact that manager Ange Postecoglou has showed a desire to give everyone a chance to shine, Lo Celso has not yet made an appearance for the team, and his departure from the organization is still anticipated.

Since Barcelona, where he is highly regarded, needs a more imaginative player to round out their team, he has been strongly connected with a return to Spain and Barcelona in particular.

Because of their financial situation, a deal had appeared to be extremely unlikely and nearly unattainable, but according to Miguel, Xavi has made it obvious that he is desperate to sign with them and has asked them to make a “last attempt” at it.

He makes this request in response to midfielder Pedri’s injury, which could keep him out for up to a month due to a quadriceps strain.

Lo Celso is the man Xavi plainly wants to replace the void he’ll leave behind. The long-awaited deal for Lenglet, though, is said to “could be the key,” and it would appear to be complicated.

It is implied that Barcelona would be willing to reciprocate in kind by agreeing to a move for Lo Celso if Tottenham obtains the defender they want in a trade and the defender agrees to a transfer.

Spurs could sign a striker for a lower price since they “have already approached” him, according to a journalist.

Jonathan David, a striker for Lille, is interested in joining Tottenham Hotspur, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.

Since a few weeks ago, Jonathan David has been one of the players mentioned as a possible Harry Kane successor who might join Spurs.

Journalist Rudy Galetti claims that although “Spurs have already approached Lille” over the 23-year-old Canadian international and to learn more about the terms of a contract, no official action has yet been taken.

Although no official action has been taken as of yet, Spurs have already contacted Lille to inquire about the terms of the transaction and to confirm the pricing.

And now, Jacobs has said in his most recent podcast with Last Word on Tottenham that even if the striker’s asking price is about £55 million, Spurs may be able to negotiate a deal at a lower price because the player is eager to join the club.

    Added Jacobs

Jonathan David continues to be really intriguing. If we’re talking about fees, that would be a very large cost, maybe 50 to 55 million pounds ($60 to 65 million), but David is eager to relocate.

“This is a fascinating one because the only name if Kane left under Paratici that Tottenham were really seriously exploring when they first got wind, maybe around March or April, that the Kane scenario might be moving against them.

“The only name they first proposed was Jonathan David, but that was under Paratici and under Conte or interims; once more, Postecoglou will have his say.

I am aware that some other Premier League teams have taken a look at Jonathan David but are unsure of whether he will be a good fit for the league.

The question is, can he achieve it at a different pace and level than the statistics suggest? I’m most interested in seeing that, though David isn’t completely off the table.

Spurs may be pressed for time with the transfer window closing in just one week, as Jacobs has noted that it won’t be simple to do business with Lille with so little time remaining in the window.

Tottenham will have signed a top-tier striker to finish off what will be seen as a fantastic transfer window if Lille and Spurs can somehow agree on a sum before the transfer deadline.

Although Spurs will have to pay a premium for him and he won’t be cheap, David’s ambition
