WWE Crown Jewel Main Event Confirmed

The WWE Crown Jewel main event has been confirmed.

The WWE Crown Jewel main event has been confirmed, per Dave Meltzer’s article in the most recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The contest that will be the talk of the town is LA Knight vs. Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship. The match was shot on the SmackDown broadcast on October 13; however, the formal announcement from WWE has not yet been made.

The WWE’s Crown Jewel event is scheduled for November 4th at the Mohammed Abdu Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This will be the eleventh event that the company has held in the nation during its ten-year cooperation with the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Sport to assist the Saudi Vision 2030 project. The show is slated to begin at 1 p.m. ET, which means that fans in the UK will see it at 6 p.m.

    Officially confirmed matches include:

    • Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre for the WWE World Heavyweight Title
    • Rhea Ripley vs. Nia Jax vs. Shayna Baszler vs. Zoey Stark vs. Raquel Rodriguez in a Fatal five-way match for the WWE Women’s World Title
    • Meltzer has also speculated that Rey Mysterio will defend his US Title against Logan Paul and Judgment Day’s Damian Priest and Finn Balor will likely face Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso in a rematch for the Tag Team Titles.

Will Cristiano Ronaldo Be At WWE Crown Jewel?

Rumor has claimed that WWE is negotiating a deal to invite Cristiano Ronaldo to WWE Crown Jewel, albeit neither side has confirmed anything. As the captain of the Saudi League team Al Nassar at the moment, Ronaldo will be in the nation when the show is scheduled to happen.

WWE Survivor Series 2023: Big Changes Expected

There will be significant changes to the 2023 WWE Survivor Series.

In an effort to increase ticket sales, the previously scheduled set has been canceled, with Survivor Series expected to be a sellout. There are now 2,784 additional seats available for the event as a consequence of 4 more sections being opened, as reported by the social media account WrestleTix.

Haus of Wrestling has also been informed that the Titantron, a mainstay of WWE events, will not be there. In its place, there may be a smaller monitor over the entranceway or none at all. Haus of Wrestling was also informed by a WWE source that the November show will have a “very old school MSG style” due to the presence of a simple ramp. It is also mentioned that, should demand for tickets persist, the arena may undergo additional modifications to add more sections and increase its capacity.

WWE Survivor Series 2023: Major Changes Expected

Why Are Changes Being Made For WWE Survivor Series?

The word “demand” was used to explain the modifications when Haus of Wrestling questioned why they were being made. A record amount of tickets have been sold for the forthcoming Survivor Series, an event that has suffered a decline in interest in recent years. Many people believe that Money in the Bank is now a greater show than one of the company’s oldest events.

It’s also said that a number of rumors have contributed to the sale of extra tickets for the Chicago performance. Since it’s in front of his home fans, it was first reported that this would be the event where a CM Punk comeback would be most likely. But later rumors would emerge refuting any discussions of Punk’s comeback, thus fans would not go into the show with high expectations.

Not just one well-known figure has been suggested to return in November, but also the former AEW star. Rumors that Randy Orton would make his eagerly anticipated return at the big event have grown after he hasn’t played in more than a year.
