These factors may have contributed to the prediction made by some (Football Insider) that Tottenham would have difficulty placing even in the top half of the table.
After a few months, though, it is accurate to state that Spurs have undergone a complete transformation. The team is now backed up by a large number of talented young players, plays some visually striking football, and has impressed supporters all year long.

Neville acknowledged that Tottenham has emerged as the campaign’s biggest surprise thus far.
Even though it was not a popular choice among the fan base at the time, the Tottenham board and Daniel Levy deserve a great deal of credit for passing up on Mauricio Pochettino and placing a wise wager on Postecoglou.

The manager talks about the approach that has driven Tottenham’s successful start to the season in an exclusive interview.
The current Tottenham Hotspur team’s positive start to the season is largely due to “Ange Ball’s” talent, and the man responsible claims that this isn’t coincidence.
The tactic was previously used by Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou to win two straight league titles; although he did not coin the term “Ange Ball,” he admits it is a real philosophy and not merely a catchphrase.
In an exclusive interview for the most recent issue of FourFourTwo magazine, he stated, “I think it’s there, definitely.”
“I’d like to think it’s not just random events, but something there that we work on every week.”

However, Postecoglou adds, “I love football because it has its own life.”
