‘Sad news for Moyes’ as 48-year-old sacked by Premier League club this year acknowledged to replace David Moyes at West Ham

In the event that the Scot is fired, Darren Bent has identified a guy who will replace David Moyes at West Ham.

In his capacity as West Ham’s manager, David Moyes is facing significant pressure, and according to recent sources, he faces the genuine possibility of losing his position at the London Stadium.

That being said, it is indisputable that the Scot has performed admirably since coming back to assume management of the Hammers for the second time in December 2019. At minimum, he should be respected for leading West Ham to our first major title since 1980 during the previous season.

That said, things have clearly become a bit stale now, and it’s obvious to see that we need a younger, more progressive manager, if we are to make any kind of progress.

With that in mind, Darren Bent thinks he knows just the man for the job…

Premier League club fired 48-year-old this year; he is expected to take David Moyes’ job at West Ham

Graham Potter is the ideal replacement for the 60-year-old Scot at the London Stadium, according to Darren Bent.

Speaking on talkSPORT yesterday, the former football player turned commentator suggested that Potter would be a “completely unbelievable fit” for West Ham.

I believe Potter would be a fantastic match, therefore it would be fascinating to see what kind of manager they actually want. He would be a perfect match among their current group of players.

Six months ago, the 48-year-old was actually mentioned as a possible successor to Moyes, but the Scot ended up staying on.

Following Chelsea’s 2-0 loss to Aston Villa in April of this year, Potter was fired as manager of the club.

That shouldn’t deter West Ham supporters from liking the former Brighton manager, though.

He performed well at Brighton, and to be honest, he was doing a respectable job at Chelsea up until Todd Boehly began to spend cash on players the manager hadn’t even asked for. In any case, he was not allowed enough time to see his concept of football translate into on-field success.

Potter plays football in a way that is both clever and entertaining to watch. In the event that he is appointed as the new West Ham manager, we will need to allow him some time for his ideas to sink in since it is a complex system.

I hope David Moyes gets fired shortly from his role as West Ham’s manager. It’s obvious that with him in charge, we won’t be moving very quickly. Potter would, in my opinion, be a significant improvement over the 60-year-old.
