Cristian Romero has suggested that London will now always be his home, even once his career has finished, in comments which may delight Tottenham Hotspur fans.
Over the past few years, Spurs supporters have discovered that it is difficult to keep Cristian Romero out of the news, for both good and negative reasons.
According to remarks he has since made to SWM, fans of the Argentinean will be happy to hear that he has no plans to leave the nation’s capital anytime soon.

Romero’s tenure at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has been exciting to witness. Some see him as a liability who is prone to losing his head.
But when he’s on top of his game, there aren’t many better defenders in the Premier League, if not the entire globe. He was, of course, a member of the Argentina team that won the World Cup the previous year.
Romero and James Maddison currently share the role of co-vice captain for Tottenham. Ange Postecoglou will therefore undoubtedly want to hold onto him for as long as feasible.
Romero doesn’t seem interested in moving anywhere, which is good news.
“Throughout my career, I’ve had the good fortune to live in a few different cities, but nothing compares to London,” he said to SWM. It’s a city with an amazing history and the capital of the globe, in my opinion. I adore this place’s history, people, and diversity.
“I believe that even once my profession is over, my family and I will always call London home. Since my kid, who is the most important person in my life, was born in London, I will always have a particular place in my heart for the city. Here, we’re truly content.

Regarding Romero, the past few weeks have been unexpected. He was great in the team’s inaugural season. However, after signing a permanent contract, he struggled during the campaign along with a number of other players.
But at the start of this season, Romero began to forge an incredible partnership with Micky van de Ven, just as he was being written off.
That will encourage supporters to believe that his crazy challenge on Sunday and his recent red card against Chelsea were isolated incidents.
Tottenham would undoubtedly benefit greatly if they were to defeat Romero during his prime years.
