Jamie O’Hara, a former player for Tottenham, has criticized Eric Dier, saying that his time at the team is finished.

Given how long he has been a member of the team, O’Hara thinks Dier is disappointed that Ange Postecoglou passed him up for the captain and vice-captain positions.
However, the talkSport commentator gave the defender a harsh evaluation, saying that he is not talented enough to play for Spurs.
He emphasized that Dier’s abilities do not align with Tottenham’s goals and that the team must move on with fresh recruits and a new management.
He stated to Sky Sports (via HITC):
“I don’t believe he ought to start for Tottenham,” I said.
If I’m being honest, his time at Tottenham is up. He isn’t good enough, in my opinion, to play for Tottenham.
“Can he play for the squad? Maybe. But I don’t believe he views himself as a member of the group. I believe he believes he is competent enough to play.
“I believe he is disappointed that he wasn’t selected to serve as captain or vice-captain. He has been a devoted employee at the club for a very long time.
But he’s just not up to par. Tottenham must advance. The present is the future. We have a new manager and some new players, so let’s shake things up and see what happens.
A lot of people criticized Dier for his poor performances during the previous season, which led to rumors concerning his position in the team.
And despite the fact that the new manager has made it plain that he wants to have a strong defense, he has failed to win over the latter.
Although Micky van de Ven has already been added to the team’s defense, there are rumors that the club is still hoping to add another top-tier center-back before the transfer window closes.
Although Dier is apparently keen to stay at the club and depart on a free transfer in the following summer, Fulham are still interested in signing him.On the other hand, Spurs are aiming to sell him this summer.
