Ange Postecoglou may have the ideal Tottenham answer for both the immediate and long-term Yves Bissouma issue.The Mali international has excelled under the new Spurs manager, masterfully holding down the middle and allowing James Maddison and Pape Matar Sarr to show off their inventiveness and tenacity in the attacking third.
The 26-year-old had a difficult first season under Antonio Conte because of ongoing injury issues, which left him lacking in self-assurance. With Postecoglou in charge, he has undergone a transformation, and he feels like a new signing alongside the additions of Guglielmo Vicario, Micky van de Ven, and Destiny Udogie.

He handled himself pretty well, and I could see right away that he wanted to get better every day as soon as we let him in. He possesses exceptional qualities, and despite just being 20 years old, he has already successfully navigated some significant defensive hurdles. He appears thrilling when he advances with the ball. It makes me very happy to having him around.
Udogie is used very differently than an inverted full-back, who is typically used to provide an extra body in midfield to help create half spaces and open avenues for various assaults. The 20-year-old is allowed to advance freely up the pitch, and his propensity for doing so is undoubtedly one of his strongest qualities.
