It’s now acknowledged that Guirassy gave amazing performances.The Guinea international is ranked eighth, just one spot behind Kane, in 90min’s ranking of the top 20 football players in the world for 2023–2024.

James Madison, Lionel Messi, and Son Heung-min are ranked 11th, 15th, and 17th, respectively, behind Cristiano Ronaldo, who is ranked 10th.

Spurs want to sign Guirassy

Last week, journalist Dean Jones stated on GiveMeSport that Serhou Guirassy is a free agent that Tottenham is interested in signing in 2024.

So far this season, the Spurs have used either Richarlison or Son Heung-min up front. One of the main reasons they are leading the Premier League standings is because of the fantastic work that the South Korean has done for them.

Even though Son is a fantastic player, he is not an all-around striker. Spurs will need to spend money on a top-tier number nine during one of the next two transfer windows, and Guirassy is an alluring alternative given his play this season.

It’s unclear, though, if Daniel Levy would be open to signing a person who turns 28 in March.
