Since missing a penalty in Colombia’s 0-0 draw with Ecuador, Sanchez has come out in favor of his international teammate Luiz Diaz. Diaz faced a lot of criticism. He alluded to his own struggles at Spurs during that process.

The former Tottenham star told Gol that he had nothing to conceal. “‘Lucho’ (Diaz) has been doing very important things in England.” Although I experienced a lot while I was at Tottenham, it was almost as a way of relieving the pressure that was put on him covertly.
