Spurs have plenty of highlights to come
The task facing Tottenham now is to demonstrate that they can maintain this incredible start to the new season. It is probably fair to say that many people are expecting Ange Postecoglou’s team to falter at some point because they don’t seem to have the depth that some of the other elite teams seem to have. However, with players like Maddison in the lineup, they have the opportunity to compete with everyone, and he is not alone in putting up some incredible play thus far. Porro is one of those players who appears to have transformed this season; he had a difficult transition to life in North London, but he has excelled this year. Postecoglou’s style of play seems to suit him very nicely.
And a large portion of the pitch tells a similar tale. Ever since he made his debut, Udogie has been flying. Pape Matar Sarr and Yves Bissouma, meantime, have excelled. Dejan Kulusevski also appears to be returning to his peak performance. In the upcoming days, weeks, and months, it wouldn’t be shocking if Spurs gave Porro a ton more highlights to choose from.
