The Springboks will compete in the 2023 Rugby World Cup final against the All Blacks in Paris wearing their green and gold uniform, as has been confirmed.
On Saturday, October 28, the Stade de France in Saint-Denis will host the championship game and rugby’s greatest spectacle.
At 21:00 (SA time), the game will start.
The Springboks and All Blacks have won three World Cups apiece, totaling nine Rugby World Cup victories, winning a total of six of those tournaments.
The only other time South Africa and New Zealand have faced off in a final was in 1995, when the Springboks upset the All Blacks to claim their first World Cup victory. This will be the second time ever that South Africa and New Zealand have met.

South Africa defeated Scotland 18-3 on September 10 at the Stade Velodrome in Marseille.

On September 23, Ireland defeated the Springboks 13-8 at the Stade de France in Paris.
On October 1st, the Boks defeated Tonga 49-18 at the Stade Velodrome in Marseille.
In the quarterfinal match on Sunday, October 15 (Stade de France, Paris), the Springboks defeated France 29-28.
South Africa defeated England 16-15 on October 21 in the semifinal match at the Stade de France in Paris.

Siya Kolisi: Springboks were ‘awful’
Springbok captain Siya Kolisi gave a scathing assessment of his team’s semi-final performance against England on Saturday night.

At the Stade de France in Paris on Saturday night, the Springboks defeated a determined England team 16-15. Despite coming out on top, Siya Kolisi believes that South Africa’s performance was far from satisfactory.
ENGLAND vs. SPRINGBOKS: MATCH RECAP
The Springboks were forced to play second fiddle to an inspired England team for the whole of the game, and they didn’t gain any ground until they sent out their entire bench, with replacements Handre Pollard, Ox Nche, and RG Snyman spearheading the comeback.

South Africa’s starting lineup was flat and struggled to make inroads courtesy of a lack of urgency, ill-discipline, a non-existent tactical kicking game, poor aerial control and no set piece dominance.
But the introduction of Nche to the Springboks’ front row changed the complexion of the contest with South Africa gaining outright dominance in the scrums, which ultimately set the platform for Snyman’s try and Pollard’s match-winning penalty.
KOLISI TELLS IT AS IT IS
Kolisi gave a harsh but honest evaluation of his team’s performance when asked to summarize the match and comment on the overall effort.
“England did so well in the kicking game, they outplayed us in that,” the Springboks captain stated.
In the first half, especially in the crucial areas where they could score, our discipline was appalling. However, I thought that in the second half, we came back and demonstrated our character and our capabilities with a full 23.
“Honestly, all of the effort we put in paid off. Today was extremely unpleasant, but that is the stuff that champions are made of. Honor to England; they have put in a lot of effort.
“They were written off before the World Cup. Coach Steve [Borthwick] and Owen [Farrell] and the team pulled themselves together and showed who they are. They are not a team you take lightly, all credit to them for being in the semi-final today.”
