Nor have the outcomes been poor. At the top of the Premier League standings, Spurs are now two points ahead of their opponents, having won seven of their first nine league games and drawn two.
Most of the credit is going to players like James Maddison and Heung-min Son, who together have scored the crucial goals that have vaulted Spurs to the top of the league. However, objectives are not the only things that matter.
Richarlison is the funniest Spurs player
Richardson, who is still having trouble finding the back of the goal frequently for Spurs, is one player who will undoubtedly be pleased to hear that. In one regard, though, he does win out: Brazil’s attacker is the funniest of all his teammates, according to Pie Matar Sarr.
Sarr responded, “Richarlison,” to a question from Fubo TV about which Spurs player is the funniest. “He’s insane.”
It should come as no surprise that Sarr has selected Richarlison for this specific award given his pigeon-inspired goal celebration, fiery showboating, and frequent taunting of teammates (and rivals) on social media.
I’m going to keep defending Richarlison for as long as he keeps playing with the heart and energy as he did against Fulham on Monday night.
I thought he was absolutely fantastic, the way he chased down every ball, and he was rewarded with a fine assist, too. And yes, he is a very funny guy, too.
