Sources: Tottenham ready to accept £15m Giovani Lo Celso offer
Giovani Lo Celso is a midfield player, and Tottenham is open to offers during the January transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.
Under Ange Postecogolou, the 27-year-old has been a supporting cast member this season.
The midfield talisman may leave Spurs during the midseason transfer window, possibly bringing an end to his nearly four-year relationship with the team.
It’s estimated that the Lilywhites would accept a bid for the misfit of between £15 and £20 million.
Lo Celso has only played 69 minutes of football in the 2023–24 season, and he made his only start when Fulham defeated Tottenham in the League Cup in August on penalties.
The Argentina international has essentially been reduced to a supporting role in north London since James Maddison moved there in the summer.

Additionally, rotation opportunities are scarce because Tottenham is one of the few top-half Premier League teams that only plays once a week.
During his loan season with Villarreal last year, Lo Celso scored two goals and provided three assists in 29 appearances across all competitions.
His Spurs contract, which pays him an estimated £70,000 a week, expires in June 2025.
In 87 games for Tottenham, the former star player for Paris Saint-Germain has managed eight goals and six assists.
After a first loan stint at the team, he joined permanently in 2020 from Real Betis for an alleged sum of £42.3 million.
After ten games, Tottenham leads the Premier League and has not lost in the top division.
The next game for Postecoglou’s team is against Chelsea the following week on November 6.
After transactions involving Kulusevski and Bentancur, Tottenham is “raiding Juventus again” for a third player.
Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski were acquired by Tottenham from Juventus.
There is still much to be done. Staying grounded despite Spurs form is Ange Postecoglou.
Tottenham is rumored to be interested in signing left-back Andrea Cambiaso, which means they are planning a third raid on Juventus. Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur were already acquired by the Lilywhites in recent years, allowing them to pry two players away from the Italian heavyweights.
Cambiaso joined Juventus from Genoa last summer but was instantly shipped off on loan to Bologna. He returned to Turin ahead of the new campaign and has gone on to feature in nine of his side’s first 10 Serie A matches. The 23-year-old even popped up with a 96th-minute winning strike on Saturday as Juve defeated Verona 1-0.
Cambiaso was in high demand throughout the summer, according to CalcioMercato, with AC Milan and Fiorentina of the Premier League expressing interest in a possible transfer. Tottenham is reportedly showing interest in the situation.
Eight caps for the Italy under-21 squad have been earned by Cambiaso, and Luciano Spalletti is currently evaluating the star player in anticipation of pulling him up to the senior squad. After making his top-flight debut for Genoa in 2021, the youngster has amassed 67 appearances in Serie A, suggesting a bright future at the pinnacle of the game.

From Ange Postecoglou’s summertime takeover as manager, Tottenham have mainly used a four-man defense, with Destiny Udogie frequently starting at left-back instead of Ben Davies. Spurs would have a second skilled left-sided defender to compete with for the starting shirt in Cambiaso, though.
As Kulusevski and Bentancur were signed at the end of the January transfer window in 2022, Tottenham had experience working with Juventus in the transfer market. Bentancur paid £15.9 million plus £5 million in add-ons to join, while Kulusevski took an £8.3 million 18-month loan to relocate to north London, which he then paid a further £25 million to make permanent in June.

The 23-year-old Sweden winger Kulusevski has made 68 appearances for Tottenham and has nine goals and sixteen assists. He has been a vital member of the team under Postecoglou. While Bentancur, a Uruguayan midfielder, has played for Spurs for 45 games and contributed six goals and six assists, he was sidelined for eight and a half months due to an anterior cruciate ligament rupture in February.
The 26-year-old made his debut under Postecoglou last Friday, coming off the bench as his team defeated Crystal Palace 2-1. And he will be looking for more action when Spurs play Chelsea on Monday.
