Large reward for West Ham should proposals for an £800 million MSG Sphere stadium near them be approved.

If the £800 million MSG Sphere stadium that is planned to be built nearby is approved, West Ham will reap significant benefits.

Plans for an incredible new arena in West Ham were covered by us last month; the government has not yet made a decision on the project.

In Stratford, there is a mixed response to the plans to erect a 300-foot, Las Vegas-style sphere next to West Ham’s home stadium, the London Stadium.

A few local companies and citizens have voiced reservations about the proposals.

West Ham fans   will no doubt have seen the huge sphere built in Vegas. Those who haven’t can see it in the image and video in this story.

If plans for an MSG Sphere stadium near them valued at £800 million are approved, West Ham stands to gain significantly.

West Ham will gain greatly from the approval of the £800 million MSG Sphere stadium, which is intended to be built nearby.

We previously reported on the plans for a spectacular new arena in West Ham last month; the government has not yet made a decision about the project.

Reactions to the proposals to build a 300-foot, Las Vegas-style sphere adjacent to West Ham’s home stadium, the London Stadium, are not all that positive in Stratford.

Some residents and nearby businesses have expressed concerns about the plans.

Considering that MSG intends to make significant investments to enhance the area’s transportation and traffic systems in and around Statford, which will benefit regular visitors and West Ham supporters alike.

The commute to and from games is one of the main grievances that many Hammers supporters have with the relocation to Stratford.

Currently handling traffic from the Westfield retail center, West Ham’s 62,500-seat stadium, and commuters heading to and from the heart of London, Stratford train station is the seventh busiest in the United Kingdom.

By constructing a new entrance and ticketing hall for Stratford station, rescheduling events to take place outside of rush hours, and liaising with organizations such as West Ham regarding travel requirements, MSG want to enhance the experience for everyone.

Additionally, improvements to the road and highway system surrounding the London Stadium are planned, which will facilitate matchday travel for West Ham supporters.

MSG promises to transform the location it refers to as “an inaccessible site” into a hub. Hammers fans will be pleased to hear that MSG claims the highway upgrades will be significant, since they are aware of how challenging it can be to leave games while driving.

Some improvements that West Ham fans could find useful are as follows:

Improved connectivity between Stratford Town Center and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park will be made possible by three new pedestrian bridges: two from Montfichet Road and one from the Town Centre Link.An enhanced crosswalk for pedestrians at Angel Lane Improvements to Montfichet Road, such as fewer motor lanes, broader walkways, and the construction of a cycleway

For the MSG Sphere project, including the building of this bridge and associated road upgrades, MSG Entertainment is not utilizing any public funds.
