Tottenham lost twice in a week as they gave in to two late goals against Wolves in shocking fashion.

At the last second at Molineux on Saturday, Mario Lemina scored in the seventh minute of extra time to deny Spurs all three points.

Pablo Sarabria, a substitute, contributed the assist after scoring an incredible equalizer six minutes prior.

In the third minute, Brennan Johnson gave Tottenham the lead, but Gary O’Neil’s exuberant celebrations were short lived as Spurs lost.

Similar to the Portuguese coach following a historic Porto victory against Manchester United in the Champions League, the Wolves manager ran along the touchline.

It followed a furious conclusion to the game in which challenges were thrown in, one of which proved to be Tottenham’s undoing.

The ball ended up at Sarabria’s feet after Wolves won a fast free kick that caught the Spurs defense off guard. Sarabria’s substitution altered the outcome of the match.

Lemina received a low cross from the Spaniard inside Tottenham’s area, and she had just enough time to beat Guglielmo Vicario and score the game-winning goal.

Lemina claimed that Wolves earned all three points as they joyfully celebrated as the home crowd screamed his name.

The midfield player stated, “It is an amazing feeling,” in an interview with TNT Sports. We’ve been exerting so much effort.

“We had the best strategy to play against them, and we proved it today. We deserve this game.” I’m overjoyed to have won.

“I’m in the finest possible mood. Because to the support from my supporters, I’m not being hurt.

“I adore the club and them so much. I’ve made an effort to return the favor. We have been applying a lot of pressure.

“The subs were outstanding; Pablo Sarabia’s finish and Matheus Cunha’s pass were both excellent.

“We will enjoy this, but we need to think about the international break and the next game.”

With an incredible finish, Sarabria, who entered the game as a substitute in the 87th minute, tied the score for Wolves.

The former Paris Saint-Germain player was discovered by Matheus Cunha, and he produced an incredible touch before smashing home a finish that left Vicario with no chance.

It also means that Tottenham has not won consecutive games under Postecoglou, who was only a few minutes away from triumph after Johnson’s early goal put the team ahead.
