Tottenham Hotspur players arrive at Molineux ahead of Wolves test

Ange Postecoglou and other members of the Tottenham Hotspur backroom staff have arrived at Molineux ahead of this afternoon’s early kickoff.

Spurs are trying to get back on track after losing to rival Chelsea in the top flight for the first time this season on Monday night. Their issues were made worse by the announcement that James Maddison and Micky van de Ven would both be sidelined until next year due to injuries.

Can Spurs bounce back against Wolves?

In addition, Postecoglou is without Cristian Romero, who is serving the first of a three-match ban, while fellow defender Destiny Udogie, who was also ejected against Chelsea, is out for one game.Additionally, earlier this week, Richarlison had surgery, thus he is not eligible for selection.

For the North Londoners, the international break cannot come soon enough. When they play Wolves this afternoon, they will need to bring three points back to the capital to get back on track.

Playmakers Oliver Skipp, Heung-min Son, and Brennan Johnson were among those seen traveling into the Black Country.

    Ange’s recent change in line-up

We can now confirm the line-ups for our Premier League clash with Wolves (kick-off 12.30pm UK).

For today’s lunchtime match at Molineux, Ange Postecoglou has made four changes to the squad. On Friday, it was confirmed that Micky van de Ven and James Maddison would be sidelined until the New Year due to injuries, and that Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie are unavailable due to suspension after receiving red cards in Monday’s loss to Chelsea.

Our backline sees three changes as a result of those switches: Eric Dier starts the season, while Ben Davies and Emerson Royal return to the team. For the first time since our 2-0 victory over Fulham last month, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg also makes his Premier League debut.

Two players make a comeback and one makes their matchday squad debut as we make alterations to our replacements. Academy defender Alfie Dorrington makes his first appearance in a Premier League matchday squad, while Alejo Veliz, Ashley Phillips, and Jamie Donley—the winner of the Premier League 2 Player of the Month—take their positions among our replacements.

Starting XI: Vicario, Pedro Porro, Dier, Davies, Royal, Hojbjerg, Bissouma, Sarr, Kulusevski, Son (c), Johnson.

Substitutes: Forster, Dorrington, Phillips, Skipp, Bentancur, Lo Celso, Bryan, Donley, Veliz.

Our hosts, meanwhile, line-up as follows…

Starting XI: Sa, Semedo, Dawson, Kilman (c), Toti, Ait-Nouri, Cunha, Ait-Nouri, Gomes, Lemina, Bellegarde, Cunha, Hwang.

Substitutes: Bentley, Doherty, Traore, Silva, Bueno, Kalajdzic, Otto, Doyle, Sarabia.
